•  The fear of Friday the 13^th gained widespread popularity in the 20^th century.

• The Knights of Templar were wiped out by King Philip of France on Friday, Oct 13 in 1307

• In ancient Rome, witches gathered in groups of 12. The 13^th was believed to be the devil.

• If you have 13 letters in your name, you’re said to have the devil’s luck.

• One superstition says that if one cuts one’s hair on Friday the 13^th, someone in their family dies
